A quiet promise, kept weekly
When she moves to a new city,
she gets a real person to call.
Sahaayta assigns every college-going daughter a verified local guardian — a warm, background-checked human in her new city. Weekly check-ins she chooses. On-call for emergencies. And a calm "she's safe and settled" for you.

Trusted by families across
What Sahaayta is — and isn't
We are the human layer that no app can replace.
Not a tracking app.
A person she chooses to call.
Not a hostel or PG service.
A guardian who knows her city.
Not medical care.
A calm hand in an emergency.
Not surveillance.
Trust, built for her — not around her.
01
Tell us her city
Enroll in five minutes. Share her college, hostel or address, and what you'd like her guardian to know.
02
We match her guardian
A verified local — often a working professional, teacher, or mother — who lives near her campus.
03
Weekly check-ins, her way
Call, text, or a chai visit. She picks the format. She sets what stays between them.
04
You get the update that matters
A short weekly note: she's safe, she's settled. Not a location. Not a log. Just peace.

For her
An adult in the city
who is on her side.
Independence is the point. Her guardian is the one adult in the city she can actually call — for a hospital run at 2 AM, help finding or switching a PG, a tough week of exams, or just a Sunday chai when the city feels too big.
- The friend to call in an emergency — hospital, transport, on-ground help.
- Help finding, vetting, or moving to a better PG or hostel.
- A steady hand for studies, deadlines, and college paperwork.
- She picks the format — call, text, or a chai in person.
- She sets what her parents see. Nothing more (one exception below).
- Every guardian: background-verified, trained, insured.
One honest exception: signs of substance use — alcohol misuse or drugs — are the only thing her guardian will report to family. Everything else stays her choice.

For you
A weekly note that
actually lets you sleep.
No maps. No screenshots. No "last seen." Every Sunday, you get a short human update from her guardian: she's safe, she's settled, here's how the week went. If something needs your attention, you'll know first — from a person, not a notification.
Sunday, 8:00 PM
"Priya and I met at Blue Tokai on Saturday. First-semester stress is normal — she's handling it well. She's picked up a running group. All good."
— Meera, her Sahaayta guardian in Bengaluru
Families, in their own words
"I stopped calling her three times a day. That, for me, is the miracle."
"My guardian didn't try to be my mom. She just… showed up when I needed a grown-up."
"When my daughter was hospitalised for dengue, Sahaayta was there in 40 minutes. We flew in the next morning to a handled situation."
Questions we get
The honest answers.
- Is this a tracking service?
- No. We do not share her location, screen time, or messages with parents. Trust with her is the product.
- Who are your guardians?
- Working professionals, teachers, and mothers in her city — background-verified, interviewed, trained, and insured. Almost all are women.
- What happens in an emergency?
- One number, 24/7. A coordinator + her local guardian mobilise — hospital, transport, on-ground support. Parents are looped in immediately.
- Can we switch guardians if it isn't a fit?
- Anytime, no questions asked. The relationship only works if she wants it.
