The vetting process

Aadhaar, PAN, and current-address verification.

Criminal record check through licensed vendors.

Employer & reference calls
Two professional and two personal references.

In-person interview
By a Sahaayta coordinator, at their home or workplace.

Training
40-hour onboarding: safeguarding, emergency response, boundaries, communication.

Insurance
Every active guardian is covered under our liability policy.
